Review

Irfanview is an extremely fast and compact graphic viewer for Microsoft Windows. At first sight, the simple and slovenly graphic user interface doesn't catch the eye, but after using it for a while, the appearance is forgiven in favor of speed. Moreover, thanks to the absence of useless tools and options the software becomes ideal for begginers. Its simplicity doesn't imply the lack of professional tools that allow demanding users to make minor advanced editions.

Irfanview has the prestige given by its faithful users throughout the years. It was the first program with animated GIF and Multiple ICO support and one of the pioneers supporting Multipage TIF. Today, Irfanview supports every known image format and you can download plugins to expand the support for viewing more image files.

IrfanView 4.10 does not contain advertise modules, so you can install it without fear. It works under Windows 98/XP/Vista.

You can download and use this graphics application absolutely free, provided that you will not use it for commercial purposes.

To sum up, thanks to its simplicity and speed, we recommend Irfanview to those users wanting to carry out operations ranging from a single image editing to multi batch image processing.

	I've used this for a number of years. I use other programs for image manipulation and file control, but IrfanView is my default image viewer. It has gained a number of very nice features over the years. Speedy and relatively small. Great program.

	Verions 4.23 is available now. It fixes an issue with the Next button on the toolbar.
